Darkhorse Benefits focuses on one of the most important aspects of the warrior fight—careers. Founded by a former member of the 160th SOAR(A), a Special Operations unit made visible to the public during operations in Somalia (Blackhawk Down) and the raid on Osama Bin Laden, we have grown to serve veterans from all branches. Darkhorse works in identified verticals to bring promising career opportunities to veterans in alignment with their abilities and core competencies.
Our operations are divided into awareness, training, and integration into the workforce. We concentrate on occupational sectors that provide the largest capability for injured or disabled veterans to participate, along with optimal future earning potential, geographic location and long-term career advancement. We are leading the charge with new programs like Darkhorse - TECH, Purple Heart Racing and Darkhorse - MED, with two more career verticals to follow.
Leadership, tax benefits and “It’s the right thing to do” are some of the obvious reasons to hire a veteran, but vets bring many other values to the business world adaptability, stress inoculation, force multiplication, mission improvement processes and “lessons learned on target" are ingrained in the psyche of the warfighter. Enlistment is one unmatched 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week team-building exercise followed by another, continued for several years.
